Seatpost Options

PXR017S-D road carbon frame will come with 20mm offset and 7*7mm saddle rail clamp (fit regular round shape saddle) by default. Generally, seat post with offset (setback) suits riders who need more room from saddle to handlebar, and provides a more relaxed riding position. Seat post without offset (setback) is more suitable for riders who prefer a more aggressive riding position, especially for cyclists who engage in racing.

Threaded T47 Bottom Bracket

For most press fit carbon frames, it is a challenge to make the left side of bottom bracket to be exactly aligned with right side. ProX R017S-D road carbon frames are designed with threaded T47 bottom bracket and aluminum parts of the bottom bracket are wrapped into the frame in preliminary shaping. After molding completed, the thread will be machined by CNC. In that case, the concentricity and accuracy are perfect. T47 is a good solution to a problem of creaking bottom bracket.

BB Option For T47 Bottom Bracket

More and more new carbon frames are designed with T47 bottom bracket, including those big brand carbon bike frames. There are mainly two popular types of BB for T47: Inner diamater 24mm for Shimano standard crank, and Inner diameter 29mm/30mm for Sram standard crank.

To make it more convenient for our customers, we offer these two types of BB as optional part that can be purchased from us together. If you want to buy BB from us together with PXR017S-D frame, please let us know when placing frame order.

Road Bike Frame With Stem

The stem has a simple job which is to connect the handlebar with the fork steerer tube. Stem length is one of the factors to affect a bike's handling. Generally speaking, a shorter stem will result in faster handling, while a longer stem will result in slower handling. 

The optional stem length are: 90/100/110/120mm.

Full Hidden Cable Design With Stem

There is no doubt that full internal cable routing looks rather pretty. PXR017S-D road carbon bike frame is with full hidden cable routing design(cable enter frame from under stem). Perfect combination of professional geometry and full internal cable routing design. This design looks really nice and clean after whole bike assembled.

Latex 3D Mandrel Technology

In the production of our road carbon frames, newest one-piece latex 3D mandrel and moulding technology are used.
Such technology helps to optimize the orthodromic and strength of carbon fiber, and avoid wrinkle inside (wrinkle is a key factor that may cause crack). Even using same material, the strength is improved 30%. 
To achieve same strength, tradition method requires thickness 1mm-1.2mm, while such new technology only requires 0.5mm-0.8mm thickness. Thus, we are able to make the frame about 15% lighter, given strength unchanged.
For 3D latex mandrel, it is smooth inside, no wrinkle or bubble as shown in the left pictures.
