ProX Carbon Gravel Bike Frame Micro Suspension System Plus Integrated Handlebar

Micro-suspension System

Progressive seatstay and chainstay tube shape, elastomer insert and small linkage inside form the Micro Suspension System of ProX Carbon gravel frame PXG087-D. Rear seatstay and chainstay are with specific carbon lay-up design to work like leaf spring, with flex zones to enable the movement of rear stays. Elastomer insert help to absorb the shocks that comes from rear wheel. The small linkage inside are with bearings which allows the rear stays to move freely. The whole system works together to provide better comfort and compliant performance in off-road conditions.

Storage Room 

Having a storage room inside the downtube of a bike provides a convenient and integrated solution for carrying essential items.
Increased storage capacity: allows riders to carry essential small items such as tools, snacks, or small personal belongings without additional bags. It prevents them from getting lost or damaged as well.
Improved weight distribution: the weight is distributed lower and more centrally on the bike, which helps maintain a balanced and stable riding.
Cleaner aesthetics: remains sleek and uncluttered. It eliminates the possible obstacles items get in the way of the rider's legs while pedaling. 
Optimized aerodynamics: reduces wind resistance and improve efficiency, especially at high riding speeds. One small bag shown will come with frames for storage room inside the downtube.

Smart Mounts

ProX Carbon gravel bike carbon frame comes with multiple mounting mounts,  including fender mounts, rack mounts and bottle cage mounts. This allows additional accessories, such as fenders for wet weather protection and water bottle cages for long time rides. The postions of mounts are as shown in the left. 

Fork

Hidden front brake caliper design: the specific fork is designed with "Aero Fin" which helps to hide front brake caliper. When looking from the side of fin, front brake caliper is not visible. Such design help to reduce wind drag from brake caliper, and increase aerodynamics significantly. Besides, it also works as a protector for front brake caliper, extend its service life. Another benefit of this unique design is that it makes the fork look outstanding among common gravel forks. Better aerodynamics and more unique looking!

Rivet option: The default carbon gravel fork comes without 3 rivets on both sides of fork leg. Considering some riders might plan to put small luggage or bottles on fork leg (would affect handling), there is also the other option for this gravel fork, that is, with rivet hole on either side. If you prefer to have forks with rivet holes, please let us know when placing orders.

Seatpost Options

PXG087-D Gravel frame will come with seat post SP03(0mm offset) by default. If you prefer SP02(25mm offset), please mention that you need seat post SP02 when placing orders. What's more, this frame is compatible for dropper post as well.

Gravel bike frame with different handlebars

To optimize the riding experience for this gravel frameset, we have handlebar designed specifically for gravel frame. The HBR08 gravel handlebar(as showned in the left) is designed with 12 degree flare which provides better comfort for riders to handle the bike on a long adventure journey.

Some cyclists may prefer drop bars for the aerodynamic advantages and others might love MTB handlebar due to the multiple hand positions on long rides or paved sections. XC14 MTB handlebar is the second option for this gravel frameset.

Full Hidden Cable Design With Handlebar

There is no doubt that full internal cable routing looks rather pretty. PXG087-D gravel carbon frame is with full hidden cable routing design(cable enter frame from under integrated handlebar). Perfect combination of professional geometry and full internal cable routing design. This design looks really nice and clean after whole bike assembled.

UDH Hanger

The UDH(Universal Derailleur Hanger) creates a single hanger design that works on any bike for any derailleur generally. It'll also ensure perfect alignment during installation, so gear set up and shifting should be easier and crisper. What's more, if the chain jams, the hanger pivots backwards protecting the mech from being damaged. Besides, if you ever need replacement, it can be easily got since it is standard. 

BB Option For T47 Bottom Bracket

More and more new carbon frames are designed with T47 bottom bracket, including those big brand carbon bike frames. There are mainly two popular types of BB for T47: Inner diamater 24mm for Shimano standard crank, and Inner diameter 29mm/30mm for Sram standard crank.
To make it more convenient for our customers, we offer these two types of BB as optional part that can be purchased from us together. If you want to buy BB from us together with PXG087-D frame, please let us know when placing frame order.

Latex 3D Mandrel Technology

In the production of our gravel carbon frames, newest one-piece latex 3D mandrel and moulding technology are used.
Such technology helps to optimize the orthodromic and strength of carbon fiber, and avoid wrinkle inside (wrinkle is a key factor that may cause crack). Even using same material, the strength is improved 30%. 
To achieve same strength, tradition method requires thickness 1mm-1.2mm, while such new technology only requires 0.5mm-0.8mm thickness. Thus, we are able to make the frame about 15% lighter, given strength unchanged.
For 3D latex mandrel, it is smooth inside, no wrinkle or bubble as shown in the left pictures.
